On Friday evening, 24 November, the TMC held their first-ever young Doctors' mentoring evening at the Keg and Brew Bar in Surry Hills. It was a convivial evening of younger medical students and doctors meeting and chatting with some older doctors who shared their experiences and wisdom with them.
Special thanks to those wiser men – Drs Des Chu, Ian Simpson, Zoran Becvaroski and Andrew Ng for giving up their time to support the event and offer advice to our younger men.
It was great to see a wide range of medical students present to gain knowledge, build networks and seek advice.
Finally, a very special thank you to Nick Bouletos for liaising with and organising the event and venue.
