Old Trinitarian Simon Kubica (Class of 2014, Kerrigan) was recently the headline article of forbes.com.au for his company Index. Previously at Atlassian, Simon left to start the project planning and collaboration tool in 2023.

Index recently announced a $3.5M seed round at a $30M valuation from Blackbird in Australia and Bain Capital Ventures in the US, after graduating from the Y Combinator startup accelerator.

In his interview with Forbes, Simon said “We started the company in the US spent about a year in Silicon Valley. And then we decided, to really grow the team we have a real advantage doing that in Sydney. There’s so much talent coming out of Canva and Atlassian looking to join the next big thing."

The full interview with Simon can be found on the Forbes website.
