Congratulations to alumnus Ben Bishop (Class of 2019) on a strong performance at the 2026 FISU World Cross Country Championships in Cassino, Italy.

Ben competed in the Men’s Individual Short Race on Saturday 14 March, finishing 18th with a time of 8:59. It was a competitive field featuring university athletes from across the globe, with Ben representing the University of Sydney.

The FISU Championships are a major event on the university athletics calendar, and taking part is a significant milestone for any student‑athlete. It’s great to see Ben continuing to develop his running and stepping onto the international stage.

We look forward to following his progress in the seasons ahead.
