Trinity Grammar School launches new Giving Day
Scholarship Trust established to help those less advantaged attend the School.
Trinity’s first ever Giving Day is next week. Every dollar donated from 3pm, Thursday 2 June to 3pm, Friday 3 June will be trebled, thanks to generous supporters.
“We have a big goal of raising $250,000 for the newly established TGS Foundation Scholarship Trust. Our aim is to build up this endowment for future generations,” said Head Master Tim Bowden. “Making an education at Trinity available to those who may not otherwise financially be able to attend helps ensure our multicultural community and diversity.”
Generosity has always been a huge part of Trinity’s story. Many of the facilities and buildings the School enjoys today are a reality because of time, money, and energy being given by those who have come through Trinity in years before.
“Three generations of my family have spent their school days at Trinity. I’m passionate about the School and the good men it helps grow. We want to help make the opportunity for a Trinity education more widely available to those who may not have the means to attend, but have the potential to make a difference in the world,” said Dr Peter Collins, class of ‘75 and member of the Council of Trinity Grammar School
If you wish to contribute to the fund – and every dollar is tax deductible – you can donate at https://charidy.com/trinitygrammar
Every gift – large or small – will be trebled from 3pm on Thursday June 2 until 3pm Friday June 3.
