Renewal Project – July update

Teaching & Learning Building
Teaching & Learning Building

The Renewal Project reached a major milestone in July with the completion of all basement-level works. This significant step has paved the way for strong progress above ground, with the first major sections of the ground floor structure now beginning to take shape.

The recent term break provided an invaluable opportunity for building works to really ramp up. With fewer people on campus, teams were able to work intensively in key areas of the site.

Staircases and a tiered seating area have now been poured, offering the first glimpse of what will become a central gathering point for the School community. These elements are starting to bring to life the vision for this vibrant, multi-use space at the heart of the campus.

Meanwhile, work is progressing steadily around the Quad. With demolition of the old structures now complete, attention has turned to strengthening and upgrading the existing buildings. New structural steel is being installed to ensure these historic parts of the campus will integrate seamlessly with the modern facilities being built around them.

What’s next?

In the coming weeks, the focus will shift firmly to building upwards. Construction will begin on the first level above ground, while finishing touches are applied to the new foundations and supporting structures of the Quad Building.

As the Renewal Project continues to take shape, each step brings us closer to realising the transformed learning, teaching, and community spaces that will serve the School for generations to come.
