Mark Pezzano (‘91, Current and Past Parent)

Mark Pezzano was an Old Boy and Vice-Captain of the School in his leaving year. He was a past parent and a current parent when he sadly passed away on Saturday 25 February 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

As a student, Mark was involved heavily in the life of the School. He was an academically strong student while embracing enthusiastically the sporting activities the School offered. His love of Football (Soccer) was evident for all to see. He played 1st XI Football for two years (1990/91) and enjoyed the strategy and the tactics involved in the playing of the world game.

Mark is survived by his dear Father, Gino, and broader loving family, but more importantly his wife, Rita, and his two wonderful sons, Lucas (‘21) and Matteo (10FO).

A brave and courageous man, he fought his terrible illness for over ten years.

His Funeral was held in the School’s War Memorial Chapel on Friday 3 March 2023 in what was a moving but uplifting service in memory of Mark.

He will be sorely missed.
