Obituaries

Pete attended the Preparatory School until 1986 and then with his Father’s job being moved away he moved schools. Attached is a short piece written by his Father, John who himself is an Old Boy of 1967.

Pete was a fabulous son, husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, and a great workmate to many. He was an achiever.

Pete played for The Scots College 1st XV and about 50 First grade games for Easts Rugby before breaking his hand in two in a tackle and retiring.

He gained a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics degree from Sydney University and an MBA from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia where he won the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence. He had a successful career in logistics management with his last role being the National Head of Line Haul for Australia Post, their big interstate and regional trucking operation.

He had a lovely wife and three gorgeous children, Georgia aged 7, Henry 5 and Edward 3. His children were so special to him. Everyone who knew Pete talks about him as the champion bloke he truly was.

He will be sorely missed.
