Giving Day 2026: Honour the past. Open the future

TGS Foundation Giving Day | 18 - 19 June 2026
TGS Foundation Giving Day | 18 - 19 June 2026

Giving Day 2026 invites the Trinity community to come together in support of the people and places that shape a Trinity education.

From 3:00pm Thursday 18 June at Summer Hill to 3:00pm Friday 19 June at the Prep School in Strathfield, Giving Day provides a defined moment for that collective support.

For generations, Trinity has been defined not only by what happens in the classroom, but by the experiences, relationships and opportunities that form boys over time. These moments, whether on the field, in the classroom or across the life of the School, build character, foster belonging and continue to resonate long after boys have left.

They are also sustained by something less visible, but no less important — a community willing to invest in both the experience of today’s students and the opportunities available to those who follow.

A shared commitment

This year, Giving Day focuses on two priorities that sit at the centre of Trinity life:

  • Number 1 Oval — a place where effort, discipline and shared experience shape young men
  • Foundation Scholarships — ensuring access to a Trinity education is determined by potential, not circumstance

These commitments are different in form but aligned in purpose. Together, they reflect a holistic understanding of what it means to form good men, through both experience and opportunity.

The role of the TGS Foundation

The work of Giving Day is carried forward through the Trinity Grammar School Foundation.

Established to support the School of today and tomorrow through philanthropy, the Foundation invests in both people and places, enabling scholarships, enhancing learning environments, and sustaining the facilities that form part of daily school life.

At its heart is a long-term commitment: to ensure that a Trinity education remains both distinctive and accessible, now and into the future.

Means-tested Foundation Scholarships play a central role in this mission, opening the School to capable boys whose families would otherwise be unable to meet the full cost of fees. At the same time, investment in places such as Number 1 Oval ensures that the environments in which students learn, train and gather continue to support their growth and development.  Learn more about the TGS Foundation here.

A moment to participate

While the impact of philanthropy is long-term, Giving Day offers a shared moment for the Trinity community to act together.

Old Boys, current and past parents, staff and friends of the School all play a role in sustaining the experiences that define Trinity. Each contribution, whether large or small, forms part of that collective effort.

In 2026, gifts will be matched, extending their impact and reinforcing the strength of a community working towards a common purpose.

Be part of Giving Day

Giving Day 2026 runs from 3:00pm Thursday 18 June to 3:00pm Friday 19 June.

We invite all members of the Trinity community to take part.

Whether supporting Number 1 Oval, Foundation Scholarships, or both, your contribution helps sustain the life of the School and open opportunity for the boys who will follow.
