Opening the future through opportunity

TGS Foundation Giving Day | 18 - 19 June 2026
TGS Foundation Giving Day | 18 - 19 June 2026

At the heart of the Trinity Grammar School (TGS) Foundation is a clear and enduring belief: that a Trinity education should be shaped by a boy’s character, ability and potential, not by financial circumstance.

TGS Foundation Scholarships exist to uphold that belief, ensuring access to a Trinity education for boys who would otherwise be unable to experience it.

For the Trinity community, this commitment reflects something larger than a single initiative. It is part of an ongoing effort to sustain the future of the School, recognising that philanthropy does not begin and end with a single day, but continues through the collective support of generations.

As highlighted in recent TGS Foundation communications, this work is grounded in a long-term vision, with a clear focus on supporting opportunities that extend beyond the present and benefit future generations of students.

Means tested Foundation Scholarships sit at the centre of this work. They are designed not only to provide access, but to strengthen the fabric of the School itself, ensuring that the Trinity community remains diverse, grounded and shaped by values such as humility, gratitude and service.

Each Scholarship represents more than financial support. It reflects a partnership between a student, the School and a community that chooses to invest in potential, recognising that every boy contributes to the life of Trinity in meaningful ways.

The impact of that investment is significant. Through the generosity of donors, financial barriers are reduced, opportunities are expanded and lives are meaningfully changed.

As noted in the School’s giving impact reporting, philanthropic support continues to “remove financial barriers, enrich student experiences, and create life-changing opportunities through Foundation Scholarships.”

For the student, it is an opportunity that can reshape what is possible, both during their time at Trinity and beyond. For the School, it ensures that the experience of a Trinity education continues to be enriched by a wide range of perspectives and experiences. And for those who give, it represents a lasting contribution to a shared vision for the future.

This collective effort speaks to the strength of the Trinity community itself. It is a community that recognises the importance of coming together, through shared purpose and generosity, to create opportunities that would not otherwise exist.

While Giving Day is a focal point for that generosity, the work it supports extends far beyond a 24 hour period. It is part of a broader commitment to sustaining both the present and the future of the School, ensuring that the opportunities available to Trinity boys today remain accessible to those who follow.

Scholarships are one of the clearest expressions of that commitment. They ensure that a Trinity education continues to be defined not only by achievement, but by access, inclusion and the willingness of a community to support one another.

The impact of giving is not always immediately visible. It is seen over time, in the contribution of students, in the culture of the School, and in the lives they go on to lead. It is, in every sense, an investment in the future.

Be part of Giving Day

Giving Day brings the Trinity community together to support both the places and opportunities that shape a Trinity education.

Through the TGS Foundation, philanthropic support helps sustain the School of today while opening possibilities for future generations through initiatives such as Foundation Scholarships (Tax Deductible) and the renewal of Number 1 Oval (Non-Tax Deductible).

This Giving Day, every contribution reflects a shared commitment to Trinity and the experiences that define it.
