Weh Yeoh | Book Release

Officially released in 2023, Weh Yeoh’s new book ‘Redundant Charities’ is now available to purchase and the Trinity Alumni Community is invited to join the book launch event on the 6th of June, 2024.

Weh Yeoh (‘99) is a name familiar to many at Trinity, as an Old Boy and as the Founder of OIC Cambodia, an initiative that aims to establish speech therapy as a profession in Cambodia and the drivers of the annual ‘Day Without Speech’ campaign.

His new release, ‘Redundant Charities’, challenges the purpose of charities and uncovers the inherent flaws within today’s charitable models while also offering bold alternative for creating lasting social change.

The book launch is hosted in collaboration with The Working Kind Collective and Bambuddha Group.

Anna Sheppard, Founder and CEO of Bambuddha Group will interview Weh Yeoh as they explore the big questions in the charitable space and consider what the future looks like.

Following this conversation, a book signing and networking opportunity will be available for all attendees.

Tickets are $25, which includes light nibbles and drinks, with the option for a $42 ticket which includes a signed copy of the book.
